Cake smash – first birthday {Cedar Rapids baby photographer}

We celebrated sweet Xander’s first birthday with some photos and a cake smash!  He wasn’t sure about me at first, but warmed up pretty quickly.  The candid shot of him and his mom from the very end was one of my favorites, and she brought such a cute “Wild Thing” shirt for him.  I adore having a studio space for milestone sessions – no more melting cakes and hot, cranky toddlers – and the ability to still shoot when it’s freezing outside is a definite plus!  Here’s a peek into our session – thank you, C family! <3
