MISS walk 2015
Welcome to the MISS Walk 2015 recap! I’m so honored to be able to donate my time and services to the MISS Foundation during their Kindness Walk this Saturday morning in Iowa City. The Miss Foundation supports parents who have lost a child, from any cause, at any age. My good friend Jen is heading it up this year, and it’s a cause that is near and dear to her heart. Her sweet son Jesse was born still at 33 weeks due to an umbilical cord accident – the puppy in their family pictures represents him, and has been in every picture I have taken of their family since he was born. If you’re in the Iowa City area Saturday morning, please consider coming down to Lower City Park for the walk – there will be some awesome raffle prizes and refreshments! If you can’t make it and you feel so moved, donations are welcome and appreciated on Jen’s MISS Foundation fundraising page. More information about the walk (including directions and a schedule of events) is available HERE.
Here are just a few images of last year’s walk…
