Cedar Rapids natural newborn photographer {baby Nathan}

This family is very near and dear to my heart, so it was a huge honor for me to be their newborn photographer for their sweet baby boy.  I definitely hit the jackpot when I married into their extended family!  Matt & Teresa are two of the sweetest, most thoughtful people I know.  Our older daughter is just six weeks younger than their older son, and our younger daughter is just a month younger than their younger son!  We’re so thrilled for our kids to have built-in playmates and friends, and it was fun for Teresa and I to be pregnant at the same time – twice!  Jacob is an excellent big brother – always wanting to be close to his baby brother, and ready and willing to give him kisses and point out all his features.  They are going to be the best of friends growing up, I just know it!

As much as I love posing sweet, sleepy newborns, there’s something really special about a lifestyle newborn session.  I adore capturing those family connections in their own home!  Everyone is so relaxed, and baby can just stretch out and do their own thing (and occasionally get lots of love from older brother!).  I can’t wait to watch these little guys grow up.  Here’s a peek into our session – thank you, S family!  <3
