The J family is so special to me – mom was my older daughter Ellie’s very first therapist through Grant Wood AEA’s Early Access program.  (Side note: if you have a child under 3 and have any questions about their development, you can call or email them.  They’ll send someone out to do an evaluation, and if your child qualifies for any therapy services, they’re all free!  How amazing is that?!  Anyhoo – Miss Suzie is full of awesomesauce.  She started with us before Ellie was diagnosed, and we both cried on her last day before Ellie turned 3.  She’s been one of our family’s biggest cheerleaders and was instrumental in helping our girl learn to crawl, pull up, and walk.

I got to go out to their gorgeous new house for family pictures this fall, and let me tell you, it’s amazing.  Dad owns Casey Johannes Homes, and you could tell they spent a ton of time and attention to detail in their new home.  Everything inside and out was beautifully thought out and executed – I’m so happy for them to be in their forever home.  We took some fall family photos with their two kiddos (who are almost as tall as I am already!) and had a great time chatting.  Here’s a peek into our session – thank you, J family! <3
