\u00a0I&#8217;m very biased though &#8211; we&#8217;ve been good friends for ten years now. \u00a0I can&#8217;t believe how much their kiddos have grown since <a href=\"https:\/\/rebekahstewartphotography.com\/staging\/9056\/adorable-family-cedar-rapids-child-photographer\/\">their family session last year<\/a>. \u00a0Our session this year was very special &#8211; it was on their son Jesse&#8217;s birthday. \u00a0Jesse was born still in 2011, and the C family works hard to honor him and keep his memory alive. \u00a0They take Jesse&#8217;s birthday off of work and school every year, send balloons to him, and go out to dinner. \u00a0They also include his &#8220;Jesse puppy&#8221; in some of their family pictures. \u00a0It was such an honor to capture their balloon release for him this year, and so much fun to chase Alex and Ashlynne around later on &#8211; we even ended up playing at the playground until dark (you know, back when &#8220;dark&#8221; wasn&#8217;t 4:30 PM&#8230;sigh!). \u00a0Here&#8217;s a peek into our session &#8211; thank you, C family!
