If you aren\u2019t sure where to start or need some variety, here are some ways to stay active during pregnancy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Walking: Walking is a low-impact exercise that can be done almost anywhere. It is a great way to get moving and improve cardiovascular health. If you happen to be pregnant during cold winter months, there are free walking exercise videos on YouTube that can help you get those steps in!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swimming: Swimming is a great form of exercise during pregnancy because it is low-impact and helps to relieve joint pain and swelling. Check out your local pools or YMCA for lap swim times!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yoga: Prenatal yoga classes are specifically designed for pregnant women and can help to improve flexibility, balance, and relaxation. Check to see if any Yoga studios in your area offer classes for expecting moms.\u00a0(If you&#8217;re local, check out <a href=\"https:\/\/toulayoga.com\/prenatal-yoga\">Toula Yoga!<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strength training: Using light weights or resistance bands can help to build and maintain muscle tone during pregnancy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pilates: Pilates is a low-impact exercise that can help to improve core strength and posture.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cycling: Cycling on a stationary bike is a low-impact exercise that can help to improve cardiovascular health. Cycling outdoors is also great if you have a bike and some nice weather.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are already a parent, fitting in exercise can be even more challenging. Here are a few ideas that you can do with your kids!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dancing: Dancing is a fun way to stay active during pregnancy and can help to improve flexibility and coordination. Turn on some music and have a dance party with your littles!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mommy and me exercise videos: There are tons of free ones on YouTube that incorporate kids of all ages into your workout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walking clubs: There are often local groups where parents get together and walk with their kids.
